Anyone have any insights into this game?

Last year I followed the ivy much more by this point because Brown was a cash cow...

Hoping that continues now.

Brown has won 7 of the last 10 against Yale (for what its worth - i know these teams change drastically from year to year)...

Also they have covered vs yale in 6 of their last 7...

These teams this year are very similar at least in performance. This season Yale has won 2 of their last 10, and Brown has won 3 of their last 10 (the tiebreaker being last friday's matchup of course).

Probably will be a tight one - and other than a possible revenge factor I dont see why Brown shouldnt perform better at home than they did at yale...

Good luck anyway.

I like Yale to take the rematch, I follow the Ivy as closely as anyone. You should know that home court advantage is virtually non-existent at most Ivy schools. Yale was highly touted at the beginning of the year and has struggled. Now that they have stopped reading the press clippings and realize their back is to the wall, they will go all out to beat what is, essentially, a mediocre Ivy squad in Brown.

Brown lost two all-time great Browns in Earl Hunt and Nuaaliita (spelling) and caught Yale napping at home in the opener.

Keep in mind in the Ivies, this is basically an elimination game for the Elis. That means if they lose, they can say goodbye to the Ivy championship and March Madness dreams.

Just did some more research, and Brown won the first game by 12, but it was in OT.

Also, they shot 24 MORE FREE THROWS than Yale. If that holds true again they should win, granted. However, all things being equal, Yale should have the statistical edge.

Just a note Yale center Martin is questionable with a bad ankle. He also happens to be their leading rebounder and scorer.

Where are you seeing this injury. Thanks for the info, but can't find that Yale injury mentioned anywhere.

Nice call jaypaw. Brown dominated from the outset. I was DEFINITELY on the wrong side of this one. Oh well, can't be right all of the time, just try and be right most of the time.
